pharma management business with new position…
DURHAM, N.C. (October 25, 2007) –
Drug Safety Alliance Inc. (DSA) has appointed
Douglas Hill as chief information officer
to oversee its information technology systems.
Reliable computer systems and data processing
management are critical components to DSA’s
drug safety compliance and pharmacovigilance
services. Hill will be responsible for developing
strategic plans to grow and manage DSA’s
technology core in order to provide clients
with state-of-the-art drug safety evaluation.
Hill was previously president and founder
of The Hill Consulting Group, Pittsburgh,
PA, which provided IT management and consulting
services to pharmaceutical and industrial
entities. His experience includes more than
20 years in software maintenance and development,
data validation and audit preparation. Hill
is also experienced in directing pharmaceutical
standards of practice (SOP) in order to
achieve industry standard 21 CFR Part 11
compliance.
Hill will be located in DSA’s Durham,
N.C. headquarters.
